MAT/QE Members Visit New York While at Valcor - 17 April 2008
Joe Teske, Magid Saghafi, Ali Pezeshki and I visited New York City after finishing the MAT Review at Valcor. Here are a few images from the evening. Missing are most of the images I attempted to capture during a rather terrifying cab ride from Midtown to Ground Zero. Our driver, should he ever consider a career change, would be well advised to fill out an application with NASCAR.
Most notable are the images from Ground Zero, which is one huge construction site that was quite busy, even late in the evening. I was completely stunned to realize than in spite of the large amounts of activity, the sounds normally heard at a construction site seemed muted, almost reverent, as the machines attempt to join us in a continuous moment of silence.
